Tbf, they did make it to a prelim without him, so I think they'll be fine.

What you posted was enough - he was talking up Port as their captain and said they'd be better despite losing Houston.

He also said this: "He obviously did an amazing job when he was here and I really loved him playing with him and having him in our group."

But as you'd expect, he talked up the additions from the trade and said he thinks they'll be better overall.

Going by what they quoted, it was a standard nothing interview where Connor was very respectful to Houston but talked up the club's prospects.
