You have no idea. I’ve encountered a few of their supporters on here that have a real hatred towards us. Most likely stems back to a few years ago when we were not very good, had a negative W/L record against most clubs over a period of years but were something like 5-1 against Fremantle. How they lost some of those clashes (Murphy, Newnes goals) didn’t help the overall Freo supporter psyche. Acres and Cerra both leaving to come to our club. “Stealing” Motlop from under their noses. Last years controversial win didn’t help at all.

Actually, maybe I am starting to understand why they hate us.

From what I've noticed, their fans certainly have a "grievance" with us, in recent times, most likely due to us being somewhat of a "stumbling block" for them in recent seasons gone by.
Can't bring up many examples, but sure others could, but "touched off the boot" in our win over them in Adelaide didn't help relations
