Official- Stuart Clark is ****

Lewis was flamed by all parts for his performances - I am sure the same won't be done to Clark. Usual excuses will be made for him, since he is from NSW

WTF where did that 2nd quote come from? I dont remember saying that.

eddiesmith said it but he's changed it to your name.
Mitchell Johnson should have played every match in this series, and is Tait even in the squad? I don't understand why Clark plays, he is a hack.

who could forget after his extremely flukey test series in SA Alan Donald came out declaring he is one of the best in the world and will take 200+ Test wickets. So wrong, he is easily the worst bowler to have played for Autralia.
Scott Muller>>>Stuart "the next Glenn McGrath" Clark

**** off bagging lewis

everyone got smashed in that game

no one but clark got smacked yesterday

hussey has no balls he should have kept bowling him

warne - Lewis - Johnson - Lee - Mcgrapth first ashes bowling line up

Clark struggles in ODI's...but has a much better economy than Mick '113' Lewis.

Has had a very good start to his Test career and he should get first crack at the 3rd seamers position in the 1st test.

Averages 18 with the ball in his 4 tests.

Bowler friendly pitches or not he still took the wickets.

Did Pollock realise that Clark was 30 years old at the time? He'll play many more games for Australia but once he's 34 he'll be finished, is that enough time for him to take 200 Test wickets as a player that's in and out of the squad?

Yeah he's done well in Tests so far and I agree he should probably still be ahead of Dizzy, but only just. As for his ODI career, if he bowled his full 10 overs at Johannesburg and those 10 overs last night, it's safe to say he'd have his cards marked not to play another ODI.

Thats right, to all the doubters who actually believed that this man had a little bit of cricketing ability, you were oh so wrong, get him away from the Australian team, he is a no good hack. Go back to real Estate, please.

Stuart Clark, 7.0 0 87 0 3 7
thats nearly 12.5 runs an over, to think some morons said he could play the role of McGrath effectively:rolleyes:

It's official because you said so.
Ok mate.

I dont think Pollock cares.

This thread is 100% correct. Overrated, and only in coz he is from NSW. They will stick with him though coz otherwise he will have a cry saying he didnt get the chance to prove himself at the top level.

big difference though, in the match where Lewis got 0/113, he wasnt the only one to get absolutly smashed, everybody did, and if big stewie clark bowled out the ten he would have been very close to Lewis' figures, where as in this last match, all the bowlers were relatively economical except for Clark, who single handedly lost us the match. And that is the truth and there is nothing you can say to counter it with to prove otherwise because it is 100% true

First Test vs. England: Hayden, Langer, Ponting (c), Hodge, Clarke, Hussey (vc), Gilchrist +, Warne, Lee, Bracken, McGrath

Please, don't let Watson or Symonds any where near the Test Team, and as for Stuart Clark, granted he's performed well in his test matches, but not good enough to get into my team. Gillespie, very unlucky to get dropped after making a double ton, but can't fit him in either...

The 12th man spot is still up for grabs, whether it be, Dizzy, Clark, Marto or anyone else.

I understand that people have their own opinions, but that in my opinion, should be our first choice 11 cricketers to play for Australia in test matches.

I don't rate Watson as a cricketer, which is why I don't want him there, but I can see the balance he would bring if he is in there, MH, JL, RP, MC, MHu, SW, AG, SWar, BL, NB, GM..

I'm surprised some people are defending him.
What actually makes him a good bowler? What are his good attributes? Strengths?
