Might be wrong but thought he was in the last group on the time trial vid.

Nobody looked great last season but seeing Hugo drift forward and being there on the last line a few times was good to see.
I dunno Short has that sortve running power.
We have to get more outve our strengths and it’d be good if we got more outve his leg than just a smash kick down the line.

If Short get's it on the wing he is kicking it 30m out from goal, smash or not that extra distance over the back is where backs least like it and forwards love it. Stewie Maxfield did it all the time, not a great player but his kick kept on going.

2km time trials, they are for the new blokes and MacIntosh. Short's running is fine. Plus you can rotate through the wings from half forward and midfield and with someone like Banks back as well.

We'll respect the guy when he starts respecting the jumper and his teammates. Too many soft efforts including an absolute shocker late in the season where he pulled out of marking a kick from Nank, let the opposition mark the ball and kick a goal (whilst blasting our captain).

Don’t mind the idea of Short half forward.
I also would like to see Balta on a wing. Our two biggest issues last year was no one to Mark the ball coming out of defence and no pressure on opposition midfielders going forward.
Plenty of options down back with Gibcus, Miller, Young, Blight, Smith, Brown, Banks, Trezise, Vlastuin, Broad and Trainor.

For those who quickly forget, Short sprayed our captain in Round 18 vs GWS for his own selfish effort. Unaccountable and culturally damaging.

Short giving Nank a bake in the last quarter after calling for the ball and then standing flat footed while a GWS player leaps over the top of him. Sums up the bloke for me.

Pulled out of a marking contest in the last quarter and sprayed our captain for his kick.

That shit is cancer for the youngsters in the team.

Forget bigger bodies to protect the kids we HAVE to move him on.

Liability he is and in the leadership group. Points the finger at his team mates also become a habit. I don't want to hear this crap move him forward needs a change. First one to go for me.

Yze needs to send a message to this bloke. Must be dropped for that act alone. Nank would have been fuming. Close to the most disgusting "effort" I have seen in a long, long time. He is now a case of addition by subtracting.

Yep, you DO NOT berate a heart and soul man like Nank.
Nank would have more contested efforts in one game that Short has over his career.
Ok not everyone plays with Nanks desire, but a little respect!!
