The club has become stale and rebranding (shuffling the chairs) is an important part of remaining relevant in the current climate and leadership.
Scott has been a decent spokesman in terms of being an angry short man, but is now a bit of a verbal and directional liability.
New Chairman and Captain should cover a few cracks and we can all try and enjoy a shinier mediocrity.
The logo needed an upgrade and why not make it aggressive. Compensates for the yellow coaching and guaranteed, annual meek performances.
Can see where you're coming from though, Melbourne would swap the demon for the Roo in a flash. Perhaps one day the dees will bite the bullet and go with yeti's.

You know what's brilliant about that logo. The fact that on the second line they decided that two additional letters would just throw the whole thing out of whack.
"What?! Fit an O and an R on the second line? Insanity!"
Then they go and squeeze the full stop in meaning that they were one single character from the full name. Love it.

Don't mind it. The original is probably my favourite though. This one looks good on jumpers, hats and other stuff. That's the point I spose.
