Most of the usual suspects went into overdrive around May about how 'Norf' would miss the 8 despite having a soft draw, and all our young players were plodders etc........the last 8 weeks or so have left them with egg on their face, and not much material to work with.

Plus, some of the more gutless, witless trolls tend to 'sliver' (sic) under a rock when North have had a few wins, and their team (for argument's sake, let's say Geelong) have had a loss.

In addition, gogriff being threatened with a ban if he kept creating threads about Brayshaw has had a significant impact on the number of Norf trolls. Obviously, there's no such thing as untrollable, but the trolling rug has been pulled from under a few feet as of recent times. Also, people just get a bit sick of the same old chestnuts being trotted out time and again; a dead horse can only be flogged for so long before it starts to get on the nose.

However, if we somehow manage to stuff things up and fall out of the 8 (not going to happen IMO), then things would kick right off again. And rightly so.
