Time to roll this thread over into the 2025 version

So with that in mind, how about some predictions for the upcoming season which shapes to another very competitive year - no clear premiership favourite imo and 15 teams with legitimate aspirations for a top 8 finish. (Unfortunately we’re one of the three that don’t have those aspirations along with North and Richmond)

Premier - GWS
Runner up - Brisbane
Top 8 -
Brisbane
GWS
Carlton
Fremantle
Sydney
Gold Coast
Port Adelaide
Geelong

Hawthorn - 9th

Bottom 4 -
West Coast
Essendon
North Melbourne
Richmond

Brownlow - Caleb Serong
Coleman - Jeremy Cameron
Eagles wins and ladder position - 8 wins/15th
Eagles B&F - Liam Baker

No Nic Newman is a reasonable blow for Carlton. Sam Walsh's injury struggles seem to be continuing as well.

Feel like they've got the list to contend but they just don't seem to be able to piece it together.

Sydney will have a chip on their shoulder and a point to prove after another grand final failure, I reckon they'll be in the mix again with a fire in their belly.

As for our friends down the road, with the improvements they've made to their list you'd think anything below top 4 will be a failure for them and would be the end of Longmuir as well.

I'm going to enjoy death riding the Hawks, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels their list is very overrated and I'm backing them to miss finals.

Brownlow: Bontempelli and Daicos feel like safe bets but after last year's farce who knows?
Coleman: back to back for Hogan
