That Mansell suspension is pretty ****ed. Kingy strikes again.
Kane sorta went at him saying are you proud of yourself for that. I agree it's ****ing stupid. Pretty sure the saints kid was trying to take the mark.

I wanna know what happens if the you push someone, take the mark and they get concussed. Swear were even closer to you can go for a hanger but if you cause a concussion you get suspended. Reckon someone seriously floats that within a couple years.

Headless look at the top seven BF tipsters 👀

jhong Praetorian and I have an unfair advantage though as we know to just tip against Melbourne :gigglev1:

Also it's 22/28 but the BigFooty system is counting this week already :madv1:
22/28 is very impressive.

Believe it or not, I have fewer tips than that.

Fair bit of Cale Morton running away from Brendon Lade here.
What you don't know is we love ( Adelaide player) and there's a fair bit going on outside the club and in life mate.

Is it just me or is Oscar Allen being held to a ridiculous standard? He's been at the Eagles for seven years, is out of contract and a free agent. He's put up with being in a shit side for a long time and considering his injury issues he needs to make sure he's doing the best thing for the remainder of his career.

If he's going to leave the Eagles he needs to speak with his prospective employers. The fact that he's captain is irrelevant. Now he's being carted out to do an apology press conference like he got done for drink driving in a school zone.

Nah disagree. You don't take the captaincy if you have half an eye out the door.
This wouldn't be as much of an issue if he wasn't captain but taking the captaincy has to mean something. He can't look another bloke in the club in the eye properly now as captain and demand anything for the jumper.

Meh, captains have left clubs before. It happens. If West Coast have a problem with it they can take it off him. He might still be happy to stay at the Eagles and just hearing the other offers or trying to leverage the club a little. Making him do this public apology is ridiculous.

I remember Leigh Colbert going from Geelong to North as captain and that was a massive deal at the time aswell. If you're captain you're signing up to lead the players and the club, if you've got half an eye out the door that means you ain't doing the job properly. The public apology is a bit stupid but he met with an Oppo coach the same day they got belted in a derby. Don't think this one's hard to work out the angst at all

I just looked up Colbert's wiki cause I'd forgotten he existed and had to laugh at this paragraph clearly written by a Cats fan

He was awarded Geelong's captaincy in 1999, but did not play a game that season due to injury. The falling out between the club and Colbert caused great controversy.[1] He was traded for Cameron Mooney and draft picks that yielded, amongst others, six-time All Australian and two-time Best and Fairest winner Corey Enright. Mooney retired a dual premiership player with the Cats, and Enright retired as a three-time premiership player.[2]

Allen shoulda just said "I know Sam because he was an assistant here at the Eagles, we caught up over a soy latte and gluten-free muffin, delicious". No big deal.

Me personally, if I was captain of the Eagles I'd be imploring my team-mates to make as much money as possible and leave the club to mercenaries like Tim Kelly and Jaydn Hunt.

Stevie May left GC as skip. As did Tom Lynch.

I reckon you're allowed to leave a shit club if you've done some time.
May did a big chest beat around 2016 about all the Gold Coast players sticking together.

Prestia and O’Meara have been strongly linked to moves to Melbourne but May was adamant they would stay.

“You can’t question our mateship and the brotherhood we have at the club,” May said.

“The last contract I signed I had offers to go elsewhere and at the end of the day it came down to the fact I couldn’t leave my teammates.

“We all came here as 17, 18-year-olds and have gone through some tough times.

“The easy option would be to go to a Melbourne club that is playing finals.

“But if you have been here and gone through what we have gone through you see the light at the end of the tunnel and it’s going to be so much more rewarding.

“It’s part of reason why I recommitted last year. I think only reason why someone would leave is to go back home or for family. We are an incredibly tight bunch of guys here and that is ultimately what made me re-sign and why Tommy (Lynch) re-signed.”

Steven May being an example
