I'm actually going to enjoy Nick Daicos playing so much better than JHF next week bring on the Vic media circle jerk over ND and the pressure they'll apply to JHF being the number 1 pick.

The way the pies played last night is exactly how port would be hoping they don't going by their deficiencies from the trial games. The fast ball movement hurt port against both WCE and Freo as their midfield laboured and struggled to counter it.

There is a very real chance port will be 0-2 heading into the showdown

At least Port fans can cuddle their Collingwood jumpers when they cry themselves to sleep at night. We exist to sell merchandise.

Someone on here posted something about port a year or 2 back like ..'did they sing their song in the prison bars?'....after richmond belted them in a final iirc. Nearly wet myself laughing

Port should be 0-2 heading into the Showdown just like in 2022, face Lions tomorrow and Pies next week at the G. :thumbsu:

It's more than a sport
It's true Port Adelaide tradition
I'd rather they have a win on the board to be honest. I hate coming up against them when they're winless. They're rabid.

Makes it all the bizarre they went for Frampton. Too good for SANFL, not good enough for us or Port. On what planet is he good enough for a contender?

Teams do need depth as well, and Frampton would be very cheap and decent interceptor.

Not a terrible move by any stretch, though the best result would have been Billy never debuting for Collingwood. Seeing it looks quite likely now.

Well, he'll be getting games now that Howe will be out for a while.

So did Tom Stewart tweak his knee because of the playing surface being impacted by the Ed Shearen concert?
You can't criticize the MCG. That's Holy ground you know.

But if these injuries happened anywhere else (especially interstate) you know what the front page story would be this morning.

I've watched many, many games at the G and this surface is clearly sub standard. It will improve over the next week but I'm disappointed to say...they stuffed this up.

Stewart should sue.

Interested to see what Adelaide Oval looks like today and a bit thankful we don't play there till round two so it has a little more time to heal

Today's game won't help though
