Think his Uncle Rodney hosted a golf day and a few other things
From memory we hired his father as a talent spotter. Not sure he was on anything close to what Costa paid the family though.

He is too good a coach to not be in the AFL system. He couldn't afford to be out of it for too long. I think the Norwood job will always be there if he wants it down the track.
Not sure how many years he has but given Goodwin could be gone soon hopefully its a few years.
He is a great football person to listen to. Always has some interesting opinions. I enjoyed him on SEN last night.

Except he did have reason to lie. Cats make a song and dance about having thus flat salary scale where no player earned more than Selwood. That would all be proven rubbish if Danger admitted to his salary. I'll ask again, why not judge lodge the 'lower' contract as RFA deal and see if we blink? Worst case we match and trade anyway, so no difference, best case they save a first and second round draft pick. They didn't want his contract to become public knowledge.

He's been in the AFL system before.
I'm aware of this and he deserves a shot because Ken wasn't going to move over and Goodwin wouldn't be safe with the Demons imploding.

We probably should just do that, to try to keep the comp a bit honest.
I want him at the crows though.
Definitely wouldn't be the yes man type we normally have.

Thought I'd misheard but nup (I had no idea) he was overlooked by Port in 97 and drafted to The Dees (but never played an AFL game)

I still am in the belief that we will see the Gold Coast Kangaroos and Western Sydney Bulldogs before the end of the decade. Pretty obvious that weak branding was used (suns/giants) to reduce resistance when the time comes.
Further success with the Brisbane-Fitzroy model is just another tick in the box.
Wont happen, you wont see less teams by the end of the decade.

No I would expect one will make way for Tasmania, the other will be a new market (which along the same lines will become the future home for St Kilda)

I cant imagine the Giants being prime for a merger.
Theyre a well run club who are always finals contenders, thats not something Brisbane or Fitzroy were at the time of their merger. You can make a case for North and the Suns but its still a VERY long bow to draw
If theres ever to be a new team after Tassie itll be in Perth again.
