I can't see the teams on 0 or 1 wins making finals this year...
0 - West Coast, Melbourne, Carlton
1 - Richmond, Essendon, North, Port

I had all of these missing finals.

Leaves 11 teams playing for 8 finals spots.

West Coast and Richmond are the bottom 2 teams, 100%. North probably 16th, but with a handful more wins than the other 2. Essendon, who the **** knows, but can see them in 15th. There's your bottom 4.

Melbourne/Carlton/Port have too much talent to finish 15th or lower. And all are capable of going on a run to make finals. Saints probably playing above themselves atm. Melbourne IMO the most likely of the aforementioned 3 to be proper shit because their forward line is non-existent. Port/Carlton at least have Georgiadies/Curnow

So your double ups are going to be crucial - Carlton play West Coast, North and Essendon twice plus Collingwood, Port and Hawthorn - so could make a run.

  • Port Adelaide
  • Hawthorn
  • Collingwood
  • Gold Coast Suns
  • North Melbourne
  • West Coast Eagles

Adelaide's double ups aren't going to be easy if you count showdowns as 50/50.

Should win all six of the Port, North and West Coast games.

And at least the home game against Gold Coast

So seems a reasonable set of double ups

Ch7 mentioned brave, and St Kilda being "lucky".

Hilarious
Yeah, it's like 17 points is likely an unlucky 1 point loss with dodgy umpiring.

Imo 3 finals teams & 3 missing.

Suns & Pies rising this year... Port sliding.

I always think back to Tom Rockliff lauding Port and their list manager about how they land all their targets and the Crows don't. How many of their recruits play in other sides? Esava, BZT, Joe Richards, Soldo? Willie and Sweet are okay, JHF teases stardom. Kane Cornes saying tex shouldn't be in our best 22 when Boak is still in their best 10 players. List is a shambles, and will get worse when Bergman and Butters leave.

Connor Rozee hands down the worst captain in the league. NWM has had 2 trips to Adelaide Oval and the right destination should be apparent to him now.
God damn. I had completely forgot Rockliff
