Managed to get my hands on it last week, this phone is just fantastic. He suggested a late to mid-March release date, and its totally going to blow the competition away, its a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be (after seeing it on gsmarena.com) and Im overall just very impressed.
Tested out the GPS, and it worked to with-in 1 foot of where I was, and you are able to send your co-ordinates to a friend, and then the co-ordinates will navigate you there via car/foot, and the GPS also has live traffic updates, and will give you suggestions on where to go to avoid it, certainly had a wow-factor. The guy was presuming that you pay $29.95 for the access to the maps for 3 years (i.e: $10 per year) to get over 100 countries, so you can take it overseas and it will even show 'major attractions' so if you're doing a search, and dont want to search through travel books, simply get the GPS to locate you, and it will tell you what is around you that is worth to see.
The camera was pretty darn impressive too...what else, it will take 2 gig memory cards and there will soon be a 4 gig card hitting the market too, which it can also handle. It was just crazy, price is expected to be $1200-$1400 and no idea on plans and such, finally, he said he'd been to a Nokia meeting lately and the head engineer had some crazy ideas for phones by 2010, he says Nokias will all have specs of:
10 Megapixel Cameras
Touch Screens
Rear Projection, out of a phone, for film and photography taken on the phone.
10 Gig Hard-Drives.
The Motorolla guy also had his phones....
Yep, thats it.
