Received this in an email from the Club today. It appears that I've been trapped by some smart wording in the 2018 renewal process. Sent an email back to the Club demanding that they drop the auto-renew option from me and my three grandchildren's records and forward the renewal package. There will be changes this year. 31 years a continuous member and have always renewed pre-Christmas. I'm a customer, not a f*****g number. Not happy Carl.

Got a reply. I bought a new Mazda this year and the reference was to the freebee you get with such. "a complimentary Social Club Home membership has been added into your account for next season.". My apologies to the NMFC Membership Dept.

It is a massive worry, I would have thought.

3k less than last year.

But so many were signed up without their consent on auto renew. Yet, still 3k down. And as a result there is reduced scope to match last year's increase from November onwards.

Then, the factor of so many who have downgraded their memberships.

No only got one account which they used for the membership entitlements email. Given their response it no biggy.
