My pro controller doesn't charge. The orange light doesn't flash when charging. It also only works when it's connected to a USB charge but again once I take it off it's dead and won't connect to my console?

Do I need a new battery?

Apparently physical copies of Switch 2 Edition games like Metriod Prime 4,both Zelda games and Kirby are Switch 1 cartridges with a code to download the Switch 2 version.

That's scummy

I don't see an issue with that, it's just the game + the code to upgrade, vs buying the switch 1 version standalone.

What the issue will be though is whether the cost of getting them together is more than if you bought them separately. Additionally the actual cost itself.

Looking at JB for example, the Switch 2 version is $104, and the Switch 1 version is $79.

$25 for the upgrade is steep. May as well just put it towards an NSO sub (which is probably what they want anyway).

It's an issue if the code is single use

Either lending the game to a friend or resale are no longer options

It's as scummy as you can get to advertise it as a physical version of the game

This is on the box art, which also has a link to the upgrade info which has enough info to make a decision on whether to get the Switch 1 version. To me it's clear enough it's the Switch + code.

Again, don't see the issue unless the price is higher than if you purchased both separately.

And the game is still usable and sellable, just doesn't have the upgrade pack which can still be purchased separately.

I don't think Nintendo have had a great launch, plenty of things for them to be criticized for, just don't think this is one of them.

EB related question (I've never bought a new console on day one believe it or not).

I did the $50 deposit pre-order. Is a unit only guaranteed if I pay off the remaining ASAP?
