The internet says he received sporadic mentions on the draft board both years, and that Knightmare liked him, but no serious discussion.

He played for the Allies, not Vic Country.

His forte is intercepting marking and he's excellent overhead with a good leap, ideally he'd be playing the 3rd tall interceptor but obviously that's not going to be his role with us until McAsey comes on.

This was a mistake in my book.
The mid season draft this year could well have some top line talent due to the Vic kids who didn't play last year and missed the draft.
I would think there is a very good chance an undrafted kid from last year is going to set the U19s on fire this year, and if we are down the bottom we would have the first crack at them.

Sounds like we're about to delist Stengle (I forgot about him earlier, so fully understandable why), so we should have a mid-year pick. Plus we already have an LTI with Milera as another inactive player.
