does this mean all clubs will use both version or what?
No, they have to produce two, and then depending on the fixture they wear them based on what the other team's looks like.
2024 jumpers are done in 2023.
The artwork is created, then approved by the club.
The club then gets AFL approval, after which the manufacturer begins the process of digitising the artwork.
Once converted to an Illustrator file the manufacturer makes some samples to show what they will look like.
These are presented to the club and approved.
Once these approval are obtained, then the manufacturer can go about making the two jumpers (blood rule) for the two versions in every number. Depending on the manufacturer, they will also make the VFL team jumpers as well.
The fixture is usually not released until at least the samples are made.
Rounds 10 & 11 are SDN rounds, and NAIDOC week is around R17.
Who clubs play in those rounds determines which of the two jumpers they will wear.
Sydney for example, plays R10 v Carlton, R11 v Bulldogs & R17 v StKilda.
They might wear the Red jumper, they might not need to.

Even as a Collingwood fan, the raised club logo was something which was special. The flat version just feels lame.
The raised one was introduced in the late 90's, Carlton's current is actually the traditional jumper logo and was very popular when brought back.

Is Naidoc week going to be fully indegenous jumpers being used at some point?

But in the 80’s it was embroidered on and still looked raised

That decision is up to the clubs.
Some will, some won't.
Not that I think any should do this, but can a club elect not to participate in Inegenous Round?

It was simply sewn on, it may have been raised like the numbers where in the 80's befoe the modern jumpers came in.

Nike only raised the logo when they did the modern looking CFC on the jumper (1998 to 2014)

Was there iron on Grey used 2018 and 2019 (Not printed)?

No, Sir Doug Nicholls Round is over two Rounds, and is mandatory for clubs to participate in.
In the same way Gather Round is an official AFL Round, you can't decide to to stay in Melbourne.
Obviously, SDN Round(s) come with Indigenous art on the jumpers, and Gather Round is currently just playing games in one state.
NAIDOC week is not an official AFL Round.

So a club cannot ellect to say we are not wearing an indegenous jumper this year? Sorry I must have worded it badly

Wait, you were serious earlier with the 'raised CFC' being from the late '90s?

Being sewn on the jumper is also raised, is it not? In that case you should go back to 1909, where a CFC monogram was raised and applied to the guernsey.

I was honestly fine with the heatpressed CFC from Nike, it was something different that gave the illusion of being 3D, and still was on top of the guernsey.

Correct.
They are instructed to provide two SDN jumpers.
They will wear the one the AFL tell them to wear in both Rounds, based on their opponent.

Interesting to see a Belgravia-branded Lions polo among the other New Balance-branded polos. I must confess I don't know the names of any of the players in this photo. I assume they are all new recruits? Weird that there isn't consistency.

It's a Lions Academy polo. Belgravia branding is often used for the academy rather than NB.

The girls I don’t know the names of but the males go:

Bruce Reville.
Luke Lloyd.
Reece Torrent.
Zane Zakostelsky.

Logan Morris absent.

Was in rebel today and had a good look at the Carlton 2024 clash. My favourite guernsey. I wish Geelong did this with a GFC monogram.
The rebel sport website is different to the Carlton website. Prefer the rebel one. Even in person though I thought the blue chevron? Area was lower than what it appears.

Haha I knew it wasn't too popular on here. I may have went a bit hard saying favourite lol but I just see this as a Geelong guernsey. We haven't been very adventurous lately! Except the pre season short sleeves.

The yoke lengths look different initially, but on closer inspection (seeing where they intersect at the arm), they appear almost identical. I reckon it's just an optical illusion caused by a) the rotation of the model and b) the blue cuffs on the Rebel version
