New Board: 1st Job, retain Aaron Hamill

As per another thread, I'm pushing the new board to retain Aaron Hamill in some type of capacity at the club.

He would have to be the best player that has come to another club and embraced its players, supporters and members to the max. And then go on the field of battle and spill blood (not his all the time) for the jumper.

Surely Burke & Thommo know his skills, ethics etc that delivery nothing but LOYALTY, COMMITMENT & RESULTS....exactly what our club needs NOW.

Don't lose this man - we need him now!

Think he wants to get away from footy clubs for a while.

He's been stuck at a club without playing for basically 2 years. It's not like he is switching from playing to coaching ... I dare say he has been in the box on a frequent basis recently.

Hopefully we can entice him back in a couple of years in some role, but give Sammy some breathing space.

Great idea. Crikey the man has rugged style, charisma, media savy, female pulling power and has great respect amongst the supporters and members i.e. a great way for new board to ramp up its GOODWILL assets.
