Golumless
A bigger deal out west.
Ridiculous to not have this.
Most clubs don't. Only Geelong and Port, by memory.

I wonder if that big white building is the aquatic centre bit.
There are very few AFL clubs that have that on game day.To be able to go to our club rooms on game day for beers/meals ya know a little bit of engagement..
Like football clubs are meant to be.
It's going to be a great training facility but it really could've been a massive statement as the big club in town to have direct access from the city to a decked out facility hosting all sorts of things and really put the club on the map to all.
Not even a single thought for how many thousands of members..Wow.
Club getting the next home situated should trump icy taps.Club is getting the message about licensed venue, that’s being worked through and it’s not been ruled out.
If they serve beer and schnitzel there is no difference except decorCafe's are for morning catch ups not footy clubs.
I do support the lower levelsThere are very few AFL clubs that have that on game day.
You want that go to an Ammo or SANFL.
I do think there should be a social club type bar, especially if AFLW games are played there.
Do we really need a Bistro open 7 days a week? If financially viable could buy/lease the West Thebby Hotel I guess.

What the hell am I dealing with here..If they serve beer and schnitzel there is no difference except decor
Why the outcry for the Crows to replicate it then.I do support the lower levels![]()
Glenelg tooIs that the old WWII bomb shelter?
Prospect and Brighton ovals still have their shelters too.
Is that from Olsen/club?SANFL are gone, we will have the lease but the SANFL will be compensated. We couldnt expect more than that.
Olsen, SANFL are just working out where they will go and have options. Is that from Olsen/club?
If so
I doff my cap to Olsen.....
Any issues I have with Thebby would be gone.

Not sure why, the just got a new coat of paint for their club, sorry "Precinct".Bit of professional jealousy wafting over from swampland![]()

We will never know that so you will be disgruntled for a long time.I'm listening to the interview now on SEN
Kym Dillion asked, "So what happens with the SANFL, will there be a substantial financial settlement with the SANFL?", Olsen said, "yes there will be a financial compensation offered to the SANFL"
I will wait and see just how much additional money we're now forking out to these clowns.
It they're gone that's great, but it's still the question as to how much it will cost to get rid of them?
5 million? 10 million? 20 million?
Mate the Crows could've created a high end facility that people flocked to creating a true club culture. Why the outcry for the Crows to replicate it then.
The lower levels need it more and you make more of a difference.

Remember the SANFL did have the lease, they didn't have to let it go.
Actually, umpire training is in the South Parklands (The school grounds for Pulteney grammar I believe).I don't mind the SANFL being there.
As long as they don't share revenues, and pay us to use facilities we build
Any joint venture between us and the SNAFFLE would be concerning.
Right now they only use it for umpire training? Aren't there offices at Adelaide Oval?

THE TEAM FOR ALL SOUTH AUSTRALIANS ?
except we don't want you at our club.. oh no sorry please come for a coffee
People are happy with the training facility and that's great but it's not creating a club culture that in the long run will be far more powerful than any amount of ovals or office buildings.
Typical SA response really...could be something great, but find fault immediately for something that hasnt been worked out yet.I'm amazed. Adelaide has announced one of the most world class performance training and AFLW game day facilities and everyone is angry of a what was not said about a liquor licence. How pathetic...honestly. If the facilities give us the best chance of winning premierships who gives a * about a liquor licence. Yes, its a legitimate question about restaurant / bar facilities, but is it worth getting angry about? no.
Overall the concept designs are brilliant and I can't wait. The club has thought through this really well. We should be positive rather than finding something to complain about. No wonder the club took the strategy of staying silent. The rhetoric on 5AA in half an hour from angry crows fans had to be the most pathetic radio I've heard and it was embarrassing.
