Has there been any news on who’s ground the Calder Lions will be taking. Plenty other things such as how many from each club will stay? Who’s going to coach? Which recruits are they going to try to bring back because they probably won’t be able to bring back all of them?

Announcement said the games will be split between both grounds

My belief is that when the Calder United Lions officially comes into effect then any contracts or agreements with the WNFC and NFC would become null and void from that point on because the contract is not with CULFC.

Obviously the new entity would look to lock in players, coaches, etc. that they want from both clubs to Calder United contracts but the argument could be that CULFC wasn't originally a party to the deal.

Anyone here from SL-N able to enlighten us on what happened with their merger?

Do recruits joining from wyche or nully that have been at the clubs for a couple years and their player points have gone down, do they go back to what they were originally?

The recruits will be playing for next year's contract. Wade and Kennedy top of the list. Putt as a ruck, farmer, quigley and the two Bros from geelong playing for Wycheproof would be certainties if they want to keep travelling. Plus hommelhoff
