He was parachuted into the head coach role by club admin, and then immediately went on an angry tirade at the team.

Yeah no evidence that he ever had them playing for him. Started the season slowly, had a Trez inspired sugar hit and now turning back to shit.

King at SEM would be someone who appears to have his group playing for him, in spite of being parachuted in.

How many players are left from 2023 season? Humphries/Cadee/Dech is it isnt it? (DJ came very very late on) . I dont think that is the issue.

Its the fact he literally has no set rotation... which means he has no gameplan

Rillie is shit but atleast he has a set plan and structure. This guy doesnt. I do think a bit of it though is to do with him playing personality over structure and talent. Alot of that comes though from having no club culture cos the roster is never settled or balanced. They need to blow it up and look for a balnaced list of home grown players firstly.

They should have more salary cap room then anyone in the league by some margin. Id get a guy like Shea Ili. Bring Joe Ingles home. Throw some cash at Ben Henshall/Hynum Harris from Wildcats who wont have much cap space. Build that core of 6 or so home grown players and then worry about imports. I feel ever since Julius Randle days for 36ers all they have cared about is getting imports in and getting them the ball. You cant win shit with that mentality

Ive heard murmurs also that Harrell is highest paid player in the league and by some margin too. No one else even close to his wage. Its a bit of what has driven up Bryce Cottons salary offer too

Anyway, words are cheap if they can’t back it up next game. They have the starting 5 to be one of the best in the comp no doubt.
