Kind of feel like there's some kind of coordinated DDOS'ing going on for the AU 2k servers on XB1. Every 2x rep day for the last 6 months servers go down straight away, servers down now straight away. Any vaguely important time and they go down straight away, and stay down.

I was able to get on at 8:30pm last night.

couldn't believe my luck.

The Badge points is a good feature, love having control over that.

Tried a 6'9 PF first, felt super slow and clunky.

changed to a 6'8 SF and the blend of speed and skill was much better, but I would get out bodied by bigger players.

just played a little bit then, stealing feels nerfed big time.. thinking now I am going to go as a rebounder center, either 6'11 or 7'0. Love choosing your own badges, hall of fame interceptor didnt seem to activate for me in the match though

I'm going some type of sharpshooting playmaker type arrangement PG, Krum is uncertain. We will be grinding, but my refusal to buy VC means I can't park Day 1 with my 60 ovr bum

Even bumping your MyPlayer up to 99 it still feels unbelievably sluggish.

I'm actually incredibly underwhelmed and glad I didn't pre-order, this might be the first 2k since I discovered the series back with 2k9 that I just don't bother with.

Myteam sounds like it'll be better, with better rewards for Domination Mode as well, and loyalty as well eg: logging in every day.

Yeah it does seem to give us more rewards this season which is fine.

- Triple threat has been reworked too.
- More tokens for online wins etc.
- Online algorithm when matching up games online to make sure rosters are not to far apart in terms of Ratings (I'll beleive this when i see it)
- Objectives on certain cards (Can't wait to see what this is all about)
- Evolution Cards looks promising

But what I'm not fine is they have included 2 of their rumored "paid" Youtubers in their video for my team Cash Nasty and Kristopher London (I follow them on YT). Filming them opening packs etc encouraging their followers. Smart business but its still all about the micro transactions.

It's ****ing gross. ****ing pachinko and slot machines coupled with the terrible acting. They've gone done such a scummy practice rabbit hole over the years and it's only getting worse.

Yeah, all it did was tell me ... its not worth playing this game for 15 hours a day for the next 6 months in order to get to 99 - cause you won't be that good anyway.

The Spike Lee year, was when My Player lost me! That was when you played as Frequency Vibrations, and you find out you killed a man at some point in the past, and covered it up with your best mate. Not really what I was looking for in a basketball sim lol

I had to look it up just now, but yeah that's the year. It seems there was friction between her and your twin sister/manager.

Maybe it could have worked as a weird little one-off story mode that was separate to the normal My Career, but I had no interest in playing it after all that.

They haven't learnt anything though ... it just gets more cheesy each year.

Some people seem to actually like last year ... some garbage about how you are playing in China and Haley Joel Osment is your manager and you have an arch nemises who also plays in China ... but turns out he is actually a 90 rated guard? Yknow ... like real life.

Every story they make is basically just a way to justify you starting the mode as a low rated bum to make you impatient enough to get away from the grind of getting sweet fa VC to dump money into the game and raising your stats quicker.

It's a shame because after following the game for years and certain devs associated with it I do think those guys really care about making it better, but 2k and take two have just become so greed filled in their practises.

TT as a package looks good for the grinders.

TT Online appears to be a tiered based reward level.

and love the idea of these new Evo cards.
