they're doing it as a favour... pre-season games don't get the mandatory FTA treatment for WA and SA like with home and away games... in past NAB Cup games, if the WA or SA side was playing in a FOXTEL produced game, Perth or Adelaide didn't get the game on FTA

Was delayed on ONE at 6:30pm into WA tonight like Ten. Only state in Australia they delayed it I think. Poor form.

Try ABC grandstand on digital radio for NAB cup coverage.

Also good for non WA/SA games in those states when everything else is covering the local game.

Interesting. According to the 7 day TV guide in the Herald-Sun today, the Sydney, GC and GWS games are going to be shown on OneHD from 10pm Saturday night.

You'd imagine the AFL would move heaven and earth to ensure the Syd/GWS/GC pool was live on free-to-air TV in NSW and QLD at least... Maybe as a compromise Foxtel is allowing OneHD to show a full replay from 10pm (basically after the live telecast has finished), although this doesn't appear on the Channel EPG or Online Guides at the moment. In fact ebroadcast (online guide) has the Sydney v GWS game (but not the other two) being replayed at 10.30pm on 7mate in NSW only. Wish they'd make their mind up...

It's a Fox game and a WA team isn't playing. Why the hell would you expect to see it on FTA?

Fox shouldn't even have the rights to the game. They restrict coverage and it's only available to the minority of the community. A viewer should have a right to watch all games available. And considering not one WA team is playing this week. There should still be at least one game on a saturday to view.
