Back at Etihad, full strength team, up against a team in a similar position. This is the closest we're going to get to meaningful football until the season opener, I'm ******* pumped.

Hopefully the result is the same as last year's third NAB game.
I'm expecting a win, and I don't say that very often.

Wouldn't mind seeing what Adams could do up forward this week. Might make Redpath and $$Boyd$$ sweat a bit.
No.
Adams wasn't great at WAFL level as a forward, didn't repeat lead well. as a defender he is great, no point smashing a guys confidence by moving him forward.

B - M.Boyd - Roberts - Morris
HB - Murphy - Hamling - Wood
C - Suckling - Jong - Bontempelli
HF - Stringer - Redpath - Dahlhaus
FF - Dickson - T.Boyd - Daniel
OB - Campbell - Libba - Wallis

INT - Stevens, Picken, Hunter, Roughead, Macrae, JJ

How many extra interchange do we have in the preseason again?

And Bevo's pre match instructions are simply if you want to play round 1 then prove it

Really looking forward to this game as I really rate your mids and your forwards are pretty good too.
Good to have a real hit out against a team that I have picked to finish in the eight.
Good luck and fingers crossed no injuries.

It will be interesting to see if the Pies persist with big Mason Cox
up forward or rest him for NAB 3. GWS had success at dealing
with our defensive zone by using big Rory Lobb who is a similar
type to Cox. Big Cox could prove difficult to handle and may
swing the match one way or another.

I don't have him in for round 1 but I'd love to see Collins play this one. Cloke will test both his one-on-one ability and his ability to deal with an opponent pushing up onto the wings as Cloke often does. Would give us a fair idea of where he's at.

Would think Collo would hand Cloke over once he goes up to the wing. Doubt very much he has the tank to go with Cloke that far. Happy to see the match up in the F50 though, as that would give us an idea of where his 1 on 1 game is at on the big stage, as you said.
