In a cruel twist of fate, it would appear that the Ruddster is now more popular than ever. He enjoys a 2:1 lead over Gillard in the prefered Prime Minister stakes, and it is in the realm of possibilities that Gillard herself will get the arse in the near future, perhaps to be replaced by the Ruddster himself.
If we can take something in retrospect from this sad and sorry event, don't make stupid bets you can't keep, and don't count your winnings until they are in the bank.
