I'm not the type of supporter who carries on, bags players or demands sackings but this performance has been unacceptable. Melbourne are playing incredibly and you could tell in their first final that they had the look of an undeniable Premiership team about them but our mistakes, our inability to contest and complete inability to get the ball anywhere near our forwards has been simply putrid. I'm not even sad or angry watching it as I don't let football get me that way but this has been beyond poor. Moment I knew we'd lost it was the first quarter, Dees scored their 4th goal and our backs all either had hands on heads or were folded over gasping for air or sooking in disappointment - felt like they'd already mentally conceded.

Case by case basis. If the players do well but the structures break down its structures, if the players just cant get their hands on it and are getting smashed around the ball then it doesnt matter what structures you have, nothing will really do much to change the outcome.

Theres a lot going wrong out there, but it's hard to be mad when really, we are playing like exactly what we are.
A very good football side competing against a rampaging success starved team full of superstars.
Seeing all of the young talent in the league this season like at Sydney, Port, even the bombers, I think we are actually going to be left a lot further behind than expected next season. Every other club has a couple of x factor young fellas. I think our closest would be Holmes, but I wouldnt say he has discovered his x factor as yet.
