Apart from getting people to vote on the best team and have to top 4 face off etc., I was thinking we could offer some other awards (because we live in a world where everyone gets a participation award now ). Something along the lines of....

• Team with the best youth
• Team with the best defense, best midfield and best attack
• Team with the best bench depth
• Coach who caused the most holdups/pain

etc.

I think during the bye round we should have a mid season trade period (will need to sort the finer points), followed by a delist and draft period for undrafted players

The guy I most wanted, and got: Gryan Miers (judging by the amount of angry faces, that was a close call which makes it more sweet)
The guy I most wanted, and didn't get: Sheezel and Serong.
They guy I took who I never considered beforehand: Cooper Sharman. I was kind of forced into it with the key forwards left.
Number of times the top of my list went ONE pick before mine: 0
Number of times the top of my list went TWO picks before mine: 1 (Cerra )
The coach who "stole" the most players from my board: Where do I start? With ferrisb or Beyond Blue who had almost equal contribution with this one? Ferris probably worse as I really wanted Serong Special mention to Arr0w who screwed me over with the Sheezel pick.

Just want to say as an observer on this game since it started, has been thoroughly entertaining to follow and watch, enjoyed it immensely some very funny, clever and witty people on here, as far as the game itself goes it clearly was a resounding success…
Well done to Walshy for its creation, certainly looks like it’s only the beginning of long term continuation, and all that participated and had a hand in its creative ideas in shaping it along the way…

We all love our own teams. But Im very happy with how my team turned out too.

Gritty one-on-one defenders with the others having a good blend of dash and elite kicking.

My midfield group is extremely strong with some great bench depth and the flexibility for Kozzie and Parker to go in there to add some spark if needed.

Max King spearheads the attack with the Texan and Kempy providing additional dangerous marking options. Kozzie, Parker and Motlop provides enough threat on the ground to worry any defense.

I made sure I had a mix of forward, mid and defense options on the bench too for team flexibility if an injury occurs.

Thanks for everyone participating and watching on from afar. Was a bit of a struggle at the end there when picking from the real scraps but I had a lot of fun throughout. Even waiting for Ferris on his cruise!
