Absolutely a negotiated outcome by all parties. Sayers leaves with his reputation nominally intact, and Bupa don't (completely) pull their sponsorship.

The fact AFR has referenced him as Mr Teflon on a few occasions now IMO proves that he's as shady as they get.
You're clearly not a cleanskin if Teflon is associated with your name.

Lewd photo scandal sparks AFL investigation for Melbourne’s Mr Teflon
Is this how Luke Sayers, PwC’s youngest CEO and the head of one of Melbourne’s most popular football clubs, finally comes undone?www.afr.com
With the PwC matter, basically 'too big to fail'.The fact AFR has referenced him as Mr Teflon on a few occasions now IMO proves that he's as shady as they get.

Remember when he and his wife accepted bucket loads of grease to use the charity organisation they were in charge of (guide dogs Victoria) to promote a political candidate. Wowee, that was all kinds of illegal.Shouldn’t ever have happened.
If he was where he belongs - in jail (following the PWC scandal) - then there’d have been no problem!

Imagine if they had of pulled this crim up on any of his past transgressions. We may have avoided the dick pic shit altogether. But I guess punitive corrections are reserved only for the poor and disenfranchised in this country.

The Integrity Unit’s inquiries, which included multiple interviews and review of other evidence, have now concluded and the AFL has found, based on the available evidence, that access to Mr Sayers’ X account was compromised, resulting in the posting of the image (i.e. by a person not being Mr Sayers) and tagging of another person.
“Accordingly, the AFL has determined that Mr Sayers did not breach AFL Rules in connection with the posting of the image.
“Once he was made aware of the post, Mr Sayers immediately acted to have the image removed and to shut down his X account.
“The AFL wishes to thank the executive who was unwittingly tagged in the post – her co-operation and assistance throughout the inquiries have been extremely helpful.”

A story as old as timeIt’s the same old tale of a palpitating wiener every time, every time
What else can they do?**** the AFL is corrupt.
What else can they do?
It's a private affair between two consenting adults.
This is normal for him.The conflict of interest issues should be looked at on both sides. I know where I work, anything that could even be PERCEIVED to be a conflict of interest needs to be carefully managed and generally avoided if practical. Bupa and Carlton may have different standards though.

Interesting that Karen was immediately stood down from her job.Just for the record the Guide Dogs Victoria CEO who backed Frydenberg (identifying herself as such in the ad without GDV approval) was named Karen (hee hee).
Cate is Sayers wife and endorsed Frydenberg from her $15 million mansion for '...providing a fair go to all of us'.
Thankfully even after leaving PWC the Morrison federal government ensured a fair go for Luke by paying his consultancy $4.1mill in the following year.
An interesting read;

Grand designs: meet "Cate" and the Sayers - The Klaxon
Her name’s “Cate”, she’s a “local mum and founder” - and she really wants you to vote for Josh Frydenberg. Meet the Sayers.theklaxon.com.au
But I'll leave the last word to Luke from that article;
“I build relationships and respect people who have a good head and good heart and are trying to do the right thing.”
“I think unfortunately, leaders across the board, whether it’s in business, religion or politics, there is a tall poppy syndrome here in Australia,” Sayers replied.
“A lot of these people are really good people just trying to do the best that they can do.”
Siri please define hypocrisy.
