It's not like Jackson is out of contract at the end of the year and by signing on he will end the speculation.
He has another four years after this?. And yes this is a distraction for Flagmantle in the chase of Pickett, Warner, Starcevich and whoever they think they can get.

I get what you are getting at re the family situation it doesn't matter whether he has to go it only matters whether freo will let him go-and I doubt any club would offer enough to make it worth their while (especially considering their need to keep him given how crocked Darcy is).
Given his GFs background she would be well aware that he might get held to his contract.

Yeah I get that Freo doesnt have to do anything, but if theres no sign of a resolution, and hes clearly not happy/distracted and he really wants to go maybe they just have to cut their losses.
It could open back up Warner as an option for them, if theres a buyer.

Im sure the vic clubs all know of her so they probably dont want a part of it anyway

Its not necessarily that she wants to leave Perth, she wants separation from some people which is far easier if theyre on the opposite side of the country.
