Is it possible to sticky the seating map to the top of each page? ZoBlitz Jivlain dlanod ?? with everyone posting their seats I keep going back over the thread to find this to see where they are sitting.

Regarding ticket sales/swaps: The AFL Grand Final is protected under Australian law by anti-scalping regulations, which forbid tickets to be sold at more than 10% of their face value. Offering tickets at more than this will be deleted; continuing to try to scalp tickets will result in bans.

I’m trusting them.. as someone said earlier Qantas is trying to impress, the way there flight hasn’t been cancelled in a long time which is the one I care about, don’t care as much if they shitcan my one home. Delays also don’t bother me too much as I’m flying in tomorrow night, can find another flight worst case.

It’s cost me about $1100 going with Jetstar, if I went with Virgin/Qantas it was heading towards $1600-$2000 which is getting really steep.

This morning I actually had Jetstar cancel my flight this arvo from the Gold Coast. Fortunately, I was literally using my phone at the time the text message came through. It contained a link to allow me to select a different flight at no extra cost.

Pretty good experience really, altho maybe it might have been trickier if I'd only seen the message say half an hour later and 180 other passengers had beaten me to the punch.

Flying 90 mins later than originally scheduled so still expecting to arrive in Melbourne tonight

I've printed them out at this stage. Able to transfer my ticket to my wallet but not the others by email????

Return flights are around $1000 right now. even from GC airport looks pretty dire.
How much were the flights prior to the prelim/semi?

We paid $225 each way with rex after the first final.

Others got their Saturday flights months ago for half that.

I'm sitting on level 4 in Q50 in the Olympic stand. Any idea how much sun that area gets?

I doubt you’ll see the sun. North is behind you. I’ve never sat there, but spent many hours sitting in MCC members. Middle of summer, the sun disappears on the bottom deck by about 1pm.

Far point post, ground level the first grey seats moving away from the point post is section m7. The shade line starts around row ss, and got further back during the tour.

So full sun all game for us.

Thanks for that photo and info Gadz, we're 7 sections around from you towards the wing in M14 so looks like we will be in the Sun most of the game as well.

2 sleeps to go, tension is starting to build in my gut, can not wait to get down there.

Just a heads up.
Make sure you know / trust the person or poster before buying their tickets. They can only be scanned once at the game and I suspect the scammers might be selling the same set of tickets several times...
