Thought I read he had swelling in the back , have we got a vascular specialist on here that could tell us the long term outlook

We'd give anything for him to be decent, but stress injuries to his back at such a young age aren't a great sign.
Wasn't this kid meant to be back running like a month ago? It'd be nice if the club could give us an update every now and then

My oldest is a pretty handy cricketer. As a junior high end. He had a hot spot developing in his back at 15 from bowling pace. We got onto it early, he went onto a program. He didn't bowl for one summer, but since then, hasn't missed a beat. Fawcett will be fine.
Great result, I've heard people who have ongoing stress reactions they could never get quite right so I guess it's a mixed bag. Let's hope Fawcett is one who recovers well!
I don't think it's been said he has stress fractures in his back though, has it? It was some sort of swelling last update we had.

Not holding much hope we see him this year which pisses me orf , perhaps he can look at jones at ess for inspiration, he missed a load of footy last 2y and is having a great year

don't think it was bone marrow but back edema was definitely reported.
