I have Hawthorn making the 8, with Carlton and Port missing out by a game...

We really need to beat either Port in Adelaide or Adelaide at the Dome to cement a spot, but I can't see that happening?!

With Essendons loss, I now see them missing out instead of us. That is if we can keep this advantage by beating North this week, which for some reason I have my doubts.

MY TOP 8
1 - St Kilda 21-1 (WLWWW)
2 - Geelong 20-2 (WWWWW)
3 - Collingwood 15-7 (WLWWL)
4 - Bulldogs 14-8 (WWLLW)
5 - Adelaide 13-9 (LWLWL)
6 - Brisbane 13-9 (LLWWW)
7 - Hawthorn 13-9 (WWWWW)
8 - Carlton 12-10 (WLLWW)

If i'm clever enough to pick 8 winners and the margins for the rest of the eyar my ladder ended up.

St.Kilda
Geelong
Bulldogs
Brisbane
Collingwood
Adelaide
Carlton
Hawthorn

Had Hawthorn V Essendon last match playing for a spot in the 8 and in the same round Carlton v Adelaide play for the right of a home final against each other again the next week. Hoping Carlton win and reverse that but went the conservative route.

For me I came up with:

Saints 88
Geelong 80
Brisbane 64
Adelaide 60
Bulldogs 56
Collingwood 52
Port Adelaide 44
Carlton 40
Essendon 40
Hawthorn 40
Sydney 32
Kangaroos 30
Richmond 26
Fremantle 20
West Coast 16
Melbourne 16

Saints remain undefeated, Lions & Crows take third and fourth, Carlton & Port make the eight while Essendon & Hawks miss out on percentage. Eagles & Demons get the priority pick.

I tried to make the most wacked up ladder i could get:

1. St Kilda 18 wins 118%
2. Collingwood 16 wins 139%
3. Geelong 16 wins 104%
4. Bulldogs 15 wins 131%
5. Carlton 13 wins 122%
6. Adelaide 13 wins 108%
7. Brisbane 13 wins 101%
8. Sydney 10 wins 103%

Saints
Carlton
Adelaide

Amazed a team can sneak into the 8 with just 10 wins.

In 1999 we 12 and tenned it,
lost the last game of the year v Tigers,
got smashed by 14 goals v Brisbane in the first final,
beat some side from Perth,

Then we beat the team from Glenbervie station,
who had lost 4 games for the year,
and won their only final by 12 goals.

You just don't know whats gunna happen,
when the big kids are let loose.
