News Krakouer and Macaffer set for shock early return

Afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Big game this weekend hopefully the pies win in a canter but so rarely happens. Grab the four points like a thief in the night and soar to the top of the ladder!!

The point to my post is to ask how do you fancy krakouer will perform coming back after his knee? Also can anyone give insight as to where krakouer disappeared after half time in the grand final last year? Match ups perhaps. He is an MCG specialist and having seen him in the yellow and black on a wet day in 2006 its comforting to have him in the black and white. Hopefully in the long term.

Good luck to Mac and Johnno too. Bloody good players who would get a game at any club and hopefully stick around for a bit longer....
Nobody seemed to want Macaffer last year when he was up for grabs. He is a good role player, but it is a bit much saying he would get a game in any side.

I hope Sinclair was too 'sore' to take to the field last Saturday and not just rested. We could have done with his pressure and pace around the contest. Was disappointed to hear he was a withdrawal.

Im really excited about this although Kraks worries me a bit as when he plays he does alot of sharp turning which cant be good for a recovering knee.

No chance the reco boys will be playing this year, that would be horrible mismanagement. Johnno, very outside though he does find his form pretty quickly.

I highly doubt that krak will play seniors this year. Will be good to see him in VFL tho.

As for Caff... Is he still best 22?

Good to see johnno not far away! We miss his kicking and decision making out of half back/wing.

How could anybody possibly know. When he was last fully injury free and match fit (around late 2010) he very definitely was. I have recordings of most of our matches from 2010 and I can tell you that if he can recapture his form then he is a very solid player with a great set of hands and a pretty good footy brain. How he will recover from injury is anyone's guess but given how hard he's worked to get back, I have a sneaking suspicion that by early next season people will be wondering how we got along without him.

I know what you mean, but it's interesting that the reco lads are listed as returning before Johnno. Maybe that doesn't bode well for Johnno?

Caff absolutely best 22.

only god knows what difference he would've made in last years GF if we had him standing on Scarlett as a defensive forward instead of Didak.

Did's got monstered + that role just isn't him. Caff would've actually meant Scarlett might've had to worry about him taking a mark + Caff just tackled + harrased like a mad man when he was fully fit in 2010.

imho would've made a massive difference...
