This has been troubling me for a while- in the Port vs Geelong game a few weeks ago the players couldn't believe the match was over cos the game clock showed only 24 minutes for the quarter. Why doesn't someone form the club time the stoppages, and then have the runner tell at least some of the players? Surely it would be an advantage to know when there is only one minute left. Or maybe the runner could change his shirt or wave a flag or something as a signal taht there's only 2 minutes left. The amount of time and energy that goes into AFL- a simple thing like knowing how much time's left could save a game. If they'd known maybe the cats would've bombed it long instead of loooking for an option in the backline. Anyone you nay have noticed I'm unregistered and form Sydney, so I know nothing anyway.

The best option would be to put a big bloody clock on the scoreboard showing time remaining so *everyone* knows exactly what the situation is. Let's come out of the dark and move forward!

Anyway, we've already had this debate. I think the name of the topic was Time Clock.

We've been here before, but if you put a clock up showing the time remaining, too many teams will play 'keepy off' for the last couple of minutes if the match is close. That's not footy.

Don't you guys remember last time we discussed this? The clubs do know how much time is left. Each coaches box has 2 tv's in it showing the ch 7 coverage. A quick glance would let them know the time remaining as it is flashed up there every 15 seconds into time on it seems.
