I've been reading that a lot of players made a concience effort to thank Kel Moore lin their speeches last night at the B&F. If true, the writing's on the wall for Kel and he'll be retiring.

umm the players were doing it as a joke, deledio was asked who he thinks is a chance to win the medal and he said Cotchin or Moore and laughed than said something like well we havent heard much from him this year so trying to get him involved, the group did it all night means nothing as far as retirement goes.. infact if anything if he was retiring due to injury they wouldnt be making light and laughing at him at the best and fairest

I went to the Jack Dyer Medal last night, Kelvin Moore was walking with a serious limp and had to use a crutch to help him around. But the comments reffering to him in the player speeches were purely just jokes.

Ben Nason was in a sling (didn't look too happy)

Cotchin was on and off crutches for the night

Asked Hardwick about Maric... he just laughed

Deledio wasn't too happy with people asking for photos.

They weren't so much thanking him as they were... how shall I put this... giving him SH!T.

Just came across as footy club banter to me. The whole playing group would be well aware of the hardships Kel has faced in trying to get back on the field. Making mention of him last night was a light hearted jab rather than a recognition of his career coming to an end.
