Al these AFL related vids have horrendous soundtracks.
The last appropriate sound track to a video was the Alan Didak highlights vid with The Passenger as the track and that was done by one of our own.

If Buckley could kick 70 meters, would we be happy with someone who could only kick 35 meters, or someone who could only jump half the height of Buckley's leap? Someone who could only run half the speed of Buckley would move very slowly across the ground. Etcetera.

Wasn’t just the distance. Was his kicking style as well. And yes, hitting targets can be another thing… but he also did this nicely in the state game highlights. V small sample size though

That’s kind of my point, we don’t yet know…it’s one thing to hit targets at training or in the sanfl another at AFL level.

Or the opposite... Travis Cloke. Could hit a bloke lace out from 60m on the run in general play but struggled in front of the sticks.
This kid has good form (kicking) and seemingly powerful slipper.

I think general play kicking and goal kicking are entirely different skills. Swan was a great kick at goal because he knew how to clear the mind it’s mechanical, shocking field kick though and …because he didn’t have the skill.

I think general play kicking and goal kicking are entirely different skills. Swan was a great kick at goal because he knew how to clear the mind it’s mechanical, shocking field kick though and …because he didn’t have the skill.

He was left handed but right footed, which resulted in a two handed ball drop from about his belly button.

Yep spot on. He mentioned he likes people to have a chance to succeed so I suspect he thinks a couple of training sessions to get to know his teammates and structure would make it easier.

He'd often start the year with a fair bit of butchery but would become really reliable as the year went on.
