Did no one read the parts where he stated he wants to go into admin and take a different course in footy?

He hasn't stated he wants to step away entirely; he just wants to go into a different part of footy management. Like, not coaching.
They listen to want they want to

Aaaaand you've never had a thought and changed your mind a few years down the track? Especially as there would be blank cheques waved frantically in his face? Situations and thoughts can change over time you know.

Aaaaand since when has it become a crime for us to speculate about the future?
It's bad enough the forum hall monitor is having a crack because we have the nerve to chat about alternatives, but I didn't expect you to have a moan about it too Ticky.

And finally let me add that only a couple of months ago, we were told repeatedly there was no succession plan in place but now look whats happened! Things change.

remember when Hardwick, Clarko, Blight, Barrasi, Eade, Voss etc all said they would never coach again .

Who will be Cox,s right hand man,he needs an assistant.
McVeigh (Mark) probably has the seniority, based on experience at GWS.

Personally I think we're still 1 assistant short with Jarrad McV going to the VFL, so I'd be looking externally for the senior assistant role.

HE HAS ALREADY said he's not as Adam Kennedy had come on board
I struggle to see how losing the senior coach AND an assistant, is offset by a development coach who just finished playing.

When we could do with the help and new ideas.

It's good it's fresh what we need someone straight out of the game , look at the experience with the rest of the panel .
