No one says Port Power & no one under 50 follows the SANFL for anything more than looking at potential draftees.

She's only been living in Aus. for around 15 years and knows very little about Australian Rules Football.

I told her I support a team (club) in the AFL, which is called Port Adelaide, they are from Adelaide.

She wouldn’t even know what a Port Power is.

Where in that have you called them "Port"?

The suggestion was "just call them Port, not Port Power".

My response: Isn't the point of contention in this discussion, and with Port Adelaide supporters in general, the fact that people call them "Port" instead of "Port Adelaide"?
