Isn't it amazing that the people who will insist that Murdoch, Packer, Stokes, Costello, Rinehart, Skynews, Foxnews etc etc have no impact on Australians.
That the only people who ever watch that content are 'leftoid soycuck inner city elites'.
And that the majority of people who repeat statements from those groups, word for word 'never watch that stuff'.

These sources of media, some of which are free to rural areas, which operate at a loss because of the benefits they gain from spreading misinformation.
The media that is spread far and wide across all Aus social media.
None of that has any impact, it's just people reacting to the 'woke-cult'. "her dur why I left da left".

I've nothing against the LGBTQ+, I just oppose them in all sources of media, because it's rammed down my throat!!​

Will also insist that Australians watch, love and support "The View".
They will insist that The View is equal to Fox News.
Which is... what? How do you even access it let alone watch it?

Why is honesty, critical thought, integrity just so absent in these people?
I'm not even upset with their positions any more. I accept them.
Now I just want them to engage with any honesty.
Just be honest with your positions. Spend 2 minutes reflection on your position when you find you cannot substantiate it at all.

if so i rarely watch any "opinion" news shows, the only one to that is close to it is "last week tonight" because i enjoy the humor..

Anyone who needs a talking head to tell them what to think, or cheers for a particular news organization is a moron.

Zuck has come out saying that they are going to walk back their systems that censor things like child abuse material.

Because 'even if only 1% are unfairly censored, that could be a million people'.


The reasons there are systems in place, is because they don't want to pay people to do it.
The problems that occur are because it's automated, because they want to make as much money as possible and avoid paying people to do it instead of programs.


And all the anti-trans (for the kids), anti-Muslims (for the kids), anti-immigration (for the kids), etc etc... are cheering this on... for the kids?

Likewise deleted FB app and only ever log on for marketplace, never used instagram or twitter. On socials I use are bigfooty and reddit.. reddits starting to be taken over by AI so may ditch that soon.

When you try to spend time away from Meta you realize how much effort they put into keeping you constantly engaged. From alerts abput post updates from people you're most likely to visit, specific placement of features. For example you get a friend request on Inata but you cant immediately enter their profile. You have to go to search which brings up a page of video suggestions. Meta is setup to be addictive.

Everyone on there thinks they've got a licence to be offensive without any implications on employment and relationships, so I find a lot of the groups on Facebook hilarious.

A lot of senior white collar professionals and business owners stay well clear of it in the context of posting stuff for good reason and only really use it to background check individuals....
