Mid East Israel declare war after Hamas attack III

Considering you spend so much time posting about how Jews think, it's astonishing that you don't understand what Jewish means.

For most of the Jewish and non-Jewish world, Jewish isn't a categorisation based on religious belief, it's a categorisation based onancestry and culture. There are large numbers of atheist and agnostic Jews. If you can't see how and why Antisemitism is considered a form of racism, then you just don't understand what youre talking about at all.

So even though they are white now, they can trace their ancestry back to the middle east 2000 years ago.

I'm doing my family tree. I got elements in the levant. I'm working towards a land claim

Do you think wog was used as a racist term in Australia? Or is Mediterranean skin not dark enough for you to consider that discrimination based on culture and ancestry to have been racism?

There was a post the other day where a poster was critical of a series of Jewish businessmen. The criticism was based on their support for various issues - that's not racism. It's criticising someone for their views and not the culture and ancestry that we identify them by.

However, when you identify that someone is Jewish without knowing their views and make the assumptions that you make and imply what you imply, it is prejudice based on culture and ancestry - it is racism.

I know you're keen for your Antisemitism to not be racism, but alas Mark, it is.

but i have no problems with their culture and ancestry. Unlike the jews in israel, i dont think myself superior to anyone. I dont think that i was specially chosen by a god ...

i remember in my first year at primary school i was worried that the school would find out about my italian ancestry and call me a wog. It wasn't that we had anything cultural to identify my family as italian, because we had nothing but we had darkish hair and a skin that tanned well......we didnt go to italian ceremonies. We didnt attend italian church. We didnt speak italian. On reflection, we werent italian.

i really couldnt tell the difference between a polish catholic and a polish jew liviing in israel, other than the latter has probably been in the IDF and killed children...

You're welcome to continue to call me antisemitic. The people who you are virtue signaling to probably appreciate it. You've never identified yourself as being semitic. You always seem to be more upset about what i say than the murders of thousands of children....but you're not alone.

And finally you said, "However, when you identify that someone is Jewish without knowing their views". How can I identify someone as jewish without knowing their views? That was the question in my original post.

Pretty funny that you're going with "virtue signalling" whilst constantly carrying on as though you're one of few on the planet who care about children... Believe it or not it's possible to care about children and consider many of your comments to be Antisemitic.

I'm not Jewish if that's what you're asking. Australian with a mixture of British Isles heritage. Don't know further back than that.

I actually think that it's great that you speak passionately against the atrocities in Gaza and Palestine. However I think it's disgusting that you use anti-Semitism to do so and heaps of your posts blatantly do.

Whether or not it's intentional or reflective of your views is irrelevant. Yours is a voice pushing Antisemitism and when challenged on it you double down.

In terms of your last question, you can know that someone is Jewish without knowing their views because they get called Jewish or call themselves Jewish. For most people, Jewish is a descriptor of ethnicity. Netanyahu doesn't obey the Sabbath, doesn't live kosher, was brought up secular and frankly is probably atheist or agnostic in his religious beliefs despite occassionly using scripture for political purposes. The Zionist movement - going back to the 1890s was a political movement - not a scripture based religious movement. Bibi being considered Jewish is due to his ethnicity and not his belief. Just as it is for those considered Jewish right throughout the Jewish diaspora.

I know you care about children. Just less so about palestinian children....and probably less so than your reputation on here.
I can understand that. You post a lot on BF.

Regarding membership, your mother has to have been a member......i can understand why members dont want to drop their membership even if they only want the networking aspect. Its not like a Pie membership that you can take up on a whim.

on other matters, have you seen the latest holocaust movie? It supposed to be amazing and so reaffirming. Hopefully it will be coming to Freo cinemas. It makes the reprogramming easier....

It's the mother in terms of Judaic rules. Israel actually recognises someone as Jewish through a grandparent on either maternal or paternal side.

Is your ethnicity Greek if none of your parents or grandparents were Greek? It can be your nationality of course, but ethnicity?

Regarding "membership", put your arguments into an Aboriginal context or better still one of the Aboriginal cultural groups. Where do your arguments sit?

italian is easier for me....i'm still a member and I'll support the italian govt if it starts to kill children...

The foreskin issue might limit your access. Do what madonna did and become an associate member and get some of the benefits....

Yeah history is littered with the massive benefits that come from being idenitified as Jewish. It's like being Aboriginal - they get easier access into universities, you know. First I'm going to try to find some Aboriginal lineage for the enormous benefit that Aboriginality gives you in Australian society. Then I'll search for some Jewish ancestry - massive benefits there. What other minority group do you recommend I should become for the enormous benefit it bestows?

I was just reflecting on your astute comment about my italian heritage and being called a wog. There's a ton of us wogs in the community. We should have got organised and made the politicians enact legislation not to refer to the mafia.

I felt unsafe when I was growing up. I could see people look at me and think of marlon brando. There should have been legislation in place. They should have programmed the kids not to see us that way.

And I never killed anyone. Sure I was asked to kill a few fruit and veggie guys but they were mostly italian. I would never have killed no kids....I dont think us italians could murder kids...

Is your suggestion that all aspects of this war and the response to it must aligned to your views of a binary set of beliefs a rhetorical technique or is it because your thinking is that simple?

What I mean by that is that it's possible to consider:
A) Antisemitism to be disgusting
B) Israels war to be disgusting
C) Disingenuous claims of Antisemitism to silence criticism of Israel to be shithouse
D) Australian politicians using Antisemitism as a political wedge to be shithouse
E) Australian politicians and policy acting as though Antisemitism is much worse than other forms of discrimination and hatred.

Yet you seem to assume that because someone is opposed to your antisemitic comments they're also in favour of Australian political response to Antisemitism. And also imply that because some Israeli supporters use claims of Antisemitism to silemce genuine criticism that anti-Semitism doesn't exist.

But yes, anyone who assumes that all Italians are murderous mafiosa is racist. And anyone that assumes and implies that a Jew owning a business means that they are nefariously plotting and bribing for Jewish control of government is also racist.

well i think you've got all bases covered....and yes, my thinking is rather simple. It's proven by the fact that I've picked the wrong side. If I was involved in public life more, I wouldnt be taking the risk, so I can understand why so many gentiles are laying low.

so I'm thinking that you've visited israel...

and a secondary question, after they get through imposing legislation to stop protests against israel, do you think australian parliaments will make it compulsory to love jews?...maybe enforced propaganda, although I see the WA gov't is contemplating brain washing our kids.

Which reminds me, you didnt tell me about your recent holocaust movie experiences...

Yes I've been to Israel and as you've pointed out visiting somewhere makes you completely politically aligned with that country and want to defend it, which makes me really confused as I've also visited Iran and thus want to destroy Israel.

I haven't seen the Holocaust movie that you're talking about, but I did go see Zone of Interest - good movie looking at the idea of selective empathy and how people can feel empathy for one group and none for another. You'd find it a bit challenging if you thought about it from that perspective - although you'd probably just cheer along.

Licking ass taken to an artform.....

The Liberal-National Coalition will introduce a specific section on antisemitism to the Australian citizenship test and establish a dedicated antisemitism task force if elected to government.

This was announced by shadow Immigration Minister Dan Tehan, who was speaking at an Australian Jewish Association (AJA) online forum.

He said the opposition has comprehensive plans to address rising antisemitism, particularly through immigration and citizenship reforms.

“We will place a specific section within the Australian citizenship test which will deal with antisemitism, and we will have an educational module which will deal with antisemitism,” Mr Tehan said.

“If you become, or want to become, a citizen of this nation, then you will have a specific section that you will need to undertake with regards to antisemitism.”

And yet t they trashed ‘the voice’ shameful

was it a sponsored trip to israel?

He's going back to genocide while world politics is distracted by Ukraine. The EU has a lot to do at the moment.

Just like the US in Ukraine, we can stop pretending Israel wants peace. They just want genocide and domination.

Trump's all about might is right. UN rules based order and respecting sovereignty and borders is dead. It's a green light from the US for taking what you want. Trump is a disaster for Palestine. And it's all occuring at a time when the environment is in a situation where global food shortages are probably just around the corner. Going to get ugly for any nation or group with a more powerful military eyeing off their land and resources.

Israel now openly admitting it's committing a war crime by starving people until Hamas completely surrenders.

Couldn't agree more. Genocide and invasion are now permitted by those leading "International Law".

Whey would any country think that the US or anyone else is going to stop them? China, Russia, Burma, Rwanda (in DRC), RSF in Sudan, they're all going to accelerate their genocides.

When International Law mostly holds, people and nations become complacent.

Now, when Russia and Israel say they don't care about international law, and the US agrees with them, we're about to FO what a world without international order looks like. The EU isn't strong enough to do it by themselves.

How long until Rubio, Hegseth and Trump start talking about invading Cuba?

So even though they are white now, they can trace their ancestry back to the middle east 2000 years ago.

Not sure what it proves anyway.
Kind of ridiculous that we should change country borders to what various people "wished they were " 2000 years ago.
Should they give Mexico back to the Nahua? What would happen to the non Nahua Mexicans?
