On a serious note, every club including Port Adelaide overlooked Matthew Pavlich in the 1998 draft. He was drafted at pick 4 in 1999. Richmond overlooking him in the 1999 draft for Aaron Fiora is a much bigger blunder.

Considering Freo were in dire need of tall forwards out side of Pavlich around that time.....


In 2010, Jayden Pitt who was a tall skinny Victorian Forward flanker over jack Darling was bad.

Can also argue about this one in 2014. Freo had pick 34 and used it on Connor Blakeley. Crows used pick 43 on Mitch McGovern

McDonald would be lucky to get a goal if he was in the current North lineup.

Until our dysfunctional midfield is fixed the forwards and backs are going to be consistently under the pump.

Would rather have these young midfielders in there now when there are some more mature bodies to help such as Jed Anderson and Ben Cunnington to compliment them.

Calling it a bust after 2 games for one and zero for another is inane.
