Social media and Media on commentary criticized him for holding Bishnoi back for 1 over. I do have to question what he was doing.

This is what I sometimes don't get about captains, holding a bowler who is on a heater in T20 cricket, to save them up for not using them up. There was no excuse last night. And to think maybe dew may have been a factor , well the seamers were bowling wides. If you have a chance to bowl a bowler in consecutive orders who is on a 'heater', it really is a no-brainer.

Again, I'll say this again- the thing holding LSG from doing well in this tournament is Pant as captaincy. I dare even say he has a lack of cricketing smarts in general.
