Perhaps, but also just getting Jeremy Cameron in 2019 probably would've done it.
Probably wouldn't have hurt haha.

Ah well, we were able to run with SavRat and Henderson as key forwards in big finals!Probably wouldn't have hurt haha.
Thankfully it's a view only shared by some fanatical Richmond supporters. It's quite a logical stretch to come up with the idea that peak Ablett wouldn't have had a similar effect on that Richmond side.
Ablett won 2 BnFs, Coaches Association Awards and League MVPs in premiership years as the ultimate team man. Him lifting in 2007 was the main catalyst for the Cats dynasty. Martin was already great in 2016.
Haha what a deranged and ludicrous rant. You would have been sh1tting all over Ablett for being a selfish little pr1ck for taking the Suns $$ when he did. I can't be bothered going through historical posts.
They were 2 very different players. I'm biased...I admit it. Surprise surprise a Tigers supporter will side with Martin who was the ultimate big game player over another. Yeah Ablett was a great player. And yes Ablett's playing record reads better than Martin's (excluding finals). I would still take Martin...possibly because my bias clouds my judgement or possibly because he was a better finals player.
Get over your need to have to respond to every frckin post made by a Richmond supporter. Let it go ffs.

More pathetic, delusional nonsense because you fail to accept that others don't rate your favourite player as highly as you do.We need to respect how important it is for Cats fans to downplay their nemesis Dusty. Cats would be leading in yet another final then Dusty would go full Grand Theft Auto mode, he would just steal it off them and stomp on them while he was doing it.
If I were a psychiatrist counselling a Cats supporter it is exactly what I would tell them to do. Minimise Dusty, he is just too big a monster in your mind otherwise. Minimise the Tigers, I know being outscored by them 10 finals series to 1 feels humiliating, but just keep repeating over and over to yourself you don't care. If you pretend you don't care long enough, it is almost like not actually caring. Not quite, but almost.
Dusty, anyone who doesn't agree with that doesn't enjoy ragdolling the Cats in finals.
Normless Ablett, lol wtaf.
Harley Reid. I need to believe that to get me through another season with this p*ss poor (permanently injured) list we have.
If we’re selecting a player at the time they were drafted: Buddy. He would’ve been amazing to watch with how Rocket had us playing a high tempo game. Might’ve resulted in a flag between 2008-2010, we were just lacking a key forward
If we’re selecting a player to join us now: Gary Ablett Jr. Only other option would be to go for a key defender like Rance or Scarlett
Resorting to begging now. Not a pretty sight. You don't think the Mutts might have benefitted strongly from an off the scale class mid-forward who could smash finals apart for them?
And the baton has been handed over to one Nicholas Daicos.Buddy's unicorn skill set makes him the flashy pick, but make no mistake—Jnr stands above the rest. Simply untouchable, week in and week out. No one since his Snr has consistently played at a higher standard.
