We've had far from a soft draw, we had 2 trips to Perth in the first half of the season and the majority of teams we played were top 8 teams, most Saints supporters were hopeful of making the top 8 but I don't recall many saying we would finish top 4.

I'm not going to write off Richo just yet, we've played some good footy under him and have generally been improving under him, yesterday's performance was the worst I've seen from us with him as coach so hopefully it's just an aberration as the great Norf mastermind Sooz would say.

If we keep serving up performances like that we will have to look elsewhere for a coach but I wouldn't be going back to Ross Lyin even if he was available.

He was a good coach back when we had him but I think the game has passed him by now, his defensive flooding style just doesn't cut it anymore.

It will be interesting to see how Freo go against Essendon tonight, another bad loss like the one last week and the blowtorch will be turned up on old Rossy.
