are all melbourne demons threads like this? it’s delightful! all it needs is a charcuterie board and some reasonably priced domestic sparkling wine and it would be perfect for any occasion

Yes! 🤗

It's either this or arguing about the parameters of a match sim.

ooooh, with a nice charcuterie board and some reasonably priced domestic sparkling wine, that match sim
argument sounds intriguing!

Met a bunch of lads on the infamous J Day at the G, round 16, 2012. Wise Guy Sam Demon Revival (money bags), Syrus, Biffinator, MAXIMUM GRUNDAGE and son, Supermercado (banner and mask) and a bunch of others.

Was a great day.

I'd be up for a 2025 meet up.
I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before.

I met Supermercado because I was one of the earliest purchasers of the epic book The Great Deepression - so it was personally delivered to my home by the author.

So all you weirdo collectors of “first editions” can jam it. I got my first edition hot off the press AND hand-delivered by the writer himself!

For those that don’t have a copy, get one. It is tear-jerkingly funny, and occasionally just tear-jerking. Without a doubt to become one of the great epics of Australian History.

Yeah let’s do it.

I’ll go through my usual social mess of a thing which is going “this sounds great” and making promises weeks in advance, then following up with social anxiety and working out which deadly disease to claim to hide away, but then I’ll front it and enjoy it and wonder why I put myself through all this crap for no good reason.

Ironic getting two mentions in a row when I've spent 99% of the 2000s avoiding people.
