What's everyone's league ranking? Our league is 119 of 8137...

Second year coache's (ie me) biggest mistake, missing out on Mcleoad, Shaw and fletcher at cheap prices and didn't get Judd or Bartel. Also no good rucks. I give myself a 6.5 out of 10. Ended up with:

B: C.Cornes, Polak, Carrazzo, B.Harris, McPhee, Clement, Bizzell (J.Smith, McMahon)
C: Kerr, Stanton, B.Harvey, Priddis, Notting, Foley (N.Lappin, Pettard)
R: McIntosh, Darcy (Griffen, Wood)
F: B.Johnson, Pavlich, J.Brown, Lucas, Lloyd, Riewoldt, Fevola (N.Ablett, Shultz).

PLEASE FORWARDS, HAVE ONE GOOD ROUND and let me score 2400s or even 2300s. hehehe.. Any comments.

I thought i knew how to work it out somene explained it to me last week but just used the formuls om Heath Shaw to see if it works and his break even was suppose to be 142 and he got 173 and still dropped in value so i dont get it.

They must've explained it incorrectly, because he needed closer to 200 to break even (can't rememb exact number).

Wll do you now how it works?
Worked out roughly
(Price/multiplier)x 3 weeks
Price @ Rd 10 = 480,000
mulitplier = 5000
480,000/5000 = 96 x 3 = 288
Actual scores = 72 + 18 = 90
288 - 90 = 198 (breakeven score)
Therefore to reach the 288 to break even he needed 198

This week:
465,600/5000 = 93 x 3 = 279
174 + 18 = 192
279 - 192 = 87
Heath Shaw needs about 87 to break even this week

Thanks for that got it you wouldnt know how they determine how much money they go up and down.

I don't think it is a simple equation. At least I can't work it out.

I worked out a rough SC formula earlier in the year, it seems to work within about $500 or so. I am using the assumption that a player's new price is a function of four things - the player's current price and his last three scores:

New Price = (0.7379*Current Price) + 422*(sum of last three scores)

eg Heath Shaw (Rnd 10 price = 480,000, Rnd 11 score = 174, Rnd 10 score = 18, Rnd 9 score = 72)

Rnd 11 price = (0.7379*480,000) + 422*(174+18+72) = $465,600 as expected

eg Barry Hall (Rnd 10 price = $429,900, Rnd 11 score = 26, Rnd 10 score = 10, Rnd 9 score = 101)

Rnd 11 price = (0.7379*429,900) + 422*(26+10+101) = $375,037 pretty close

If you put the formula into Excel and estimate future scores you can get an idea of what a player will be worth in the future... please note that the formula is pretty rough though... is there anyone out there with something different??

hmm dilemma, with four trades left and injury to cross who should bring in? have $0 in the bank so need to go for anything under 504,600K, i'm thinking either brock mclean or s buroyne who are steals atm and low b/e's. Or do i wait a week and see what prices are for stanton, etc
