Currently it's positive with Breust getting one more year. He's still nursing his groin injury and looks like being the sub for the time being although the bye will help.
He said it all depends on his injury. So thats great news if true.

Amazing player. Amazing career. And we get him for one more year!

Congrats luke!

Here's AFL's top 10 rookie listed players from back in 2017. In the time since this game Punky has achieved another AA selection, and has kicked an additional 244 goals.

I think Punky is a better overall player than Milne, he did more on the field and will likely finish with more goals. Cox is obviously the best, I reckon you can throw a blanket over the rest.

Posting here, as cannot for the life of me find the playworpel game thread (and I have to tell someone!)

Any search for playworpel returns 0 results. Has it been banned on here? I haven't played for ages, maybe a year or two, but found the link when cleaning up some bookmarks just now. Rewarded with a very obvious silhouette and my first ever 1 guess.

Interesting little graphic, don't remember that. Anyone else know of this little gem?

Gunner and Bruest are awesome old heads at the club. Can’t believe they’re still hanging about and often kicking ass and more importantly passing on their knowledge. If this unit gets a flag they can say they put their stamp on TWO eras and are therefore are in the top echelon of Hawks

This would be a deservedly great exclamation point on their careers, I've loved the professionalism of both, which is at least the equal of the sublime talent they both have.

Breust already an all timer imo, Gunston not too far behind him.

I think it was end of 2020 GWS came hard for Breust and he could have left and played some good football for a contending side. Clarkson perhaps through board pressure, had actually started committing to a rebuild starting 2021 and Will Day and Dylan Moore were about to become regulars for 2021.

Breust said that he'd like to commit to building and contributing to the next Hawthorn premiership, even if he wasn't on the field when it happens.

GWS have come for Breust on at least 3 different occasions. Glad we kept him and that he wanted to stay.
