I miss the days when the MCG had wildlife beyond seagulls. I used to enjoy noting the new species I'd spot in the 12 hours between arriving at the venue and watching the game.

I'm not saying it's essential, but a return to the good ol' days - where herds of wild camels were on the field - would surely add to the atmosphere.

There was a pig once spotted on the SCG and an elephant on Arden Street Oval I’ve heard…

There's no reason why they can't have the police horses again.
