Standing Room - You just stand in allocated area's around the concourse
eg) at the back of where you enter the level one seating area

Ive stood a few times, get their early to get a good spot = good view.

Glad you didn't get standing room again vicco :thumbsu:

I've got a nervous wait - my friend ordered our tickets and he can't check his online banking until late morning tomorrow at the earliest.

Fingers crossed I've avoided standing room after having to stand for last year.

Hey zagg tell your mate to try calling the banks customer service.it might be too late now but you never know.they can tell you what amounts been taken out of the credit card.he can even call early morning

$270 x4 withdrawn premium seats back to back years now! How lucky is that! Now come on boys!!!

Are standing room/restricted view really bad (never been to the g), is it atleast watchable?
Standing room is not bad but I reccommend making an effort to get there early so you get a spot at the front of the erea. I got in about 10am from memory and I just squeezed into the last spot on the fence. I really enjoyed it though and there was an amazing atmosphere and I could see everything fine except you loose the flight of the ball sometimes where I was.

He's at a birthday party, so I think he has other priorities. Will just have to wait...

A lot of people will tell you it's the best way of watching the footy but definitely take the advice of vicco and get there very, very early.

I got there at 8:30 last year and I think I was the 5th in our little section. It wasn't too cramped though, and in the end I let my friends go at the front. The view isn't bad, but you can't see any high balls and you don't have much perspective (which I find for most seats on the lower tier anyway).

Premium seating, does anyone know where abouts those are? I think that there is a small chunk of it on level one but is it mostly levels 2 and 3 does anyone know?

Standing room is alright.
Like above said, you can't see high balls, and from our section (m5 i think) we sometimes had trouble seeing the goal square, although we could for the most part.

Like everyone has said, get there early. I got there when the gate opened last year, and we had a mixture of front and second row. Just look out for Assholes rocking up late, and trying to push in front of you.

WOOOOT! Was really worried there with every else getting money taken from their accounts. Finally got the call we had as well. Was confident that big groups wouldnt get rejected. Prime or Premium didnt work it out. Doesnt matter.

Is there a way to find out where your seats are without collecting the ticket? I think I chose the venue collect/city box office collection method, so I'm not going to drive to Melbourne to collect the tickets until the Big day comes. :)
