He’s pretty much one of the best players in the entire comp.

Doedee, Dawson, Sloane kept things calm at key moments while the kids did their bits and pieces. Really good signs that the mix is there - and still more to come. Looking forward to playing some away games for an even better gauge.

RT and Rankine were quiet but contributed with strong marks or passing off goals.

Dawson the midfielder. I thought we needed him more down back, but boy was I wrong.

Fantastic. Structurally so sound again, the ability to absorb the oppositions pressure and periods where they were slightly on top, then create and convert opportunities up the other end was first class.
118 points without major contributions from Rankine and Thilthorpe… Scary.
And I think Nicks has enough there to keep the pressure on the group so to speak. Players playing well in the reserves but can’t get a game certainly is a great problem to have. A blue collar trip to Tasmania to get the job done next and keep the momentum up. Awesome stuff

Some credit has to go to Nicks and the coaches for our ball movement too. In the last 3 weeks it's been extremely impressive the way we change and control tempo at times. Seems very mature stuff and it's really working from changing the way we move ball within matches and quarters.

How good are our F50 entries these days, hitting targets at will, so good to watch
Not sure anyone realised he'd further improve. He was A grade before, now he's elite.
