[ITCHY EYEBALLS]

So snapped the head off my Taylor Made Spider putter halfway through my round at Warrnambool on Sunday.
Played Queenscliff yesterday with a borrowed DynaGlide putter from the club (must've been 40 yrs old) and have never putted better. I couldn't get over the feel of the ball off the blade. Don't have much feel from the mallet head Spider.
Off to get a new blade putter this week, any recommendations.

You better believe it. I don’t play golf on a full moon as I hit the ball so far into orbit that my ball feels the gravitational pull of the moon.

Usually go to Barnbougle but this year it was Peterborough , Port Fairy, Warrnambool and Q’Cliff.
I’m based on the Morn Pen.

I don’t operate that way.

Might take you up on that. Played 13th a few years back, nice course.
Would play Port Fairy again preferably on a calmer day.
Warrnambool not so sure, course in good nick but felt like it had a bit of an identity crisis….3 totally different courses in one. Didn’t do it for me.
Queenscliff 2nd best flat track I’ve played behind KH.

There’s a really good Dynaglide putter from about 40 years ago that have good reviews.
Tell us more about this ‘snapped head’.

Picked up a Scotty Cameron Super Select 2 - Newport - 23/24.

Marked down to $399.

They let me take it out on the back 9 and have a putt. It most certainly won't fix my issues on the green but now I can def call myself a golfer without any idea.

next up going to find a 2 iron / 3 iron or driving iron.

I honestly don’t know why it broke.
Maybe leaning on it when picking ball out of hole fatigued the shaft over time.

Have a Mizuno putter with a centre shaft, not sure how I feel about it.

A mate I play with showed me how he lines up puts today, uses the flat edge of the putter in line with the ball aiming wherever he’s going to hit, and then he steps to his position afterwards and rotates the putter to hit.

I adopted the strategy for the last 3 holes and 2 putted them all. Might be something to continue with!

Took my old favourite 56 degree vokey wedge to get refurbished today. Cannot wait to give it a new life. It deserves it more than any club I have ever had. It was a mat grey...coming back as polished chrome.

I’ve purchased a TaylorMade Utility P Udi 2 iron (graphite shaft) for $333 from Drummond Golf. It’s on order and they should have it after Easter.
